The Promoter Program

Individuals willing and capable promoting business development in improving of productivity, competitiveness and performance of entrepreneurs in national industrial sectors are welcome as promoters.

The modalities of collaboration may include as follows:

  1. Promoting distribution of products & services for UNIDO software as well as relevant training/consulting in a region or a country.

The model: The promoter receives representative powers, promote products & services, can run own consulting / training, support certification.

The financial results: receiving fixed percentage of the software sales, authorization to define local pricing for the service package “Training + Software”.

  1. Promoting the introduction of Pharos software tools and training content in the national and regional SME modernization programmes

The model: The promoter receives representative powers, promote products & services, can run own consulting / training, support certification, contribute to the implementation.

The financial results: receiving fixed percentage of the direct software sales, have percentage of the certification fees.

  1. Promoting the use of the tools in the investment capacity building, application for credits evaluation, compliance to BASEL II.

The model:
- The bank obtains certain number of UNIDO Pharos packages,
- The software (along with training) is included into the bank agreement with companies receiving industrial development credits,
- The bank customers receiving credits obtain training, install software under supervision of bank trusty consultants, prepare their databases and provide business reports to issuing banks based on Pharos benchmarking reports (e.g. monthly or quarterly e.g. via Internet) for monitoring of the KPIs change,
The financial results: receiving fixed percentage of the direct software sales, have percentage of the certification fees.
 

  1. Promoting the use of the use of Pharos software by the large national and multinational corporations which wants to upgrade and monitor their suppliers.

The model:
- The corporation obtains certain number of UNIDO Pharos packages,
- The software (along with training) is used for obtaining objective benchmarking data regarding supplier performance for selecting the preferable suppliers,

- The software is included into the corporate agreement with companies selected as suppliers, the suppliers receive training, install software under supervision of corporate consultants, prepare their databases and provide business reports to issuing banks based on Pharos benchmarking reports (e.g. monthly or quarterly e.g. via Internet) for monitoring their target improvements and achieved results,
The financial results: receiving fixed percentage of the direct software sales, have percentage of the certification fees.

  1. Promoting obtaining funding for the new Pharos Project Proposal “Development and Implementation of the business performance monitoring and Information Services for National Industrial Enterprises and Policy Makers based on Open Source platform”.

The model:
- Identification and introduction of prospective donors/sponsors
- Lobbying funding for the Programme
- Participating the Programme implementation (optional)
The financial results: receiving fixed percentage of the project funding, remuneration as consultant or coordinator.
The expected programme budget includes the development, testing, training, pilot implementation.
The project output: the new version of UNIDO Pharos software and new portal providing information services for entrepreneurs and policy – making agencies supporting sustainable development of industries and related financial sectors.

  1. Promoting training and awareness workshops.

The promoter conditions are relevant to particular products and provided upon the request.

The approach to partnership is flexible one. The ideas and proposals are welcome. The cultural and local operational environments, business content and personal interests are taken into consideration. The promotional work is rewarded on the basis of actual results and its splitting.
